This serum has high reviews from a lot of folks so I thought I would try it, especially since the vita active serum was discontinued and this one also emphasizes brightening. However, for me, I found it a bit harsh (seemed to actually trigger some rosacea around my mouth area, which I haven't had in several years) and not particularly brightening or helpful for fine lines. It does work nicely as a spot serum on pimples.
